Dr. Nicholas Minervini, DVM

Dr. Nicholas Minervini, who was born and raised in New Jersey, established Flanders Veterinary Clinic in 1994 and has been in practice for 39 years. After graduating high school from Parsippany, Dr. Minervini received his Bachelor Degree in Science mastering in Zoology and Physiology from Rutgers University. He then decided to continue his education at University of the Philippines where he received his degree in Veterinary Medicine and also Louisiana State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

When asked, Dr. Minervini’s favorite part about Veterinary Medicine is doing surgery as well as the interesting medical cases. The benefits he sees when our patients are doing well with treatments offered through the clinic is rewarding. Specifically, Dr. Minervini’s favorite part of Flanders Veterinary Clinic is the great clients and patients who appreciate his practice as well as our super staff!

Dr. Minervini currently has multiple pets including a very active corgi named Amelia, two labs named Gigi and Wiley, two birds and one cat. During his free time he enjoys hiking, biking, fishing, beach time and the occasional golf.

Jesse Gasparro, DVM
Dr. Jesse Gasparro, DVM

Dr. Jesse Gasparro, born in New York and raised in Boonton, NJ, attended William Paterson University where he received his Bachelor Degree in Biology. He went on to continue his education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and did his clinical year at the University of Pennsylvania.

Practicing in the field for nearly 8 years now, Dr. Gasparro’s favorite part of Veterinary medicine is participating in surgeries, as well as the puppy and kitten visits. He also very much enjoys the Flanders Veterinary Clinic staff members.

During his free time, you can find Dr. Gasparro spending time with his growing family including his rescued 13 year old Border Collie Mix named Scout, wood-working or reading.

aleda cheng
Dr. Aleda Cheng, DVM

Dr. Aleda Cheng graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and then continued her education at Chi University for Holistic Veterinary Medicine where she learned about Chinese Herbal Medicine and Nutrition. Dr. Cheng’s passion for learning has extended as far as her becoming members of multiple veterinary associations as well as being involved in continuing education courses, being in practice for 29 years. She also received an undergraduate degree in Medical illustrations with multiple publications.

Becoming certified in Holistic Veterinary medicine has given her an opportunity to practice Western and Eastern medicine in order to achieve the greatest outcome for all patients and pet parents. She has a special interest in integrative medicine as an adjunct to Allopathic medicine.

During Dr. Chengs free time she enjoys spending time with her pets and in addition illustrating them (including her patients). Her passion for animals runs deep as she would one day like to have a large plot of land where she can raise cows, sheep and goats.
