Dr. Aleda Cheng graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and then continued her education at Chi University for Holistic Veterinary Medicine where she learned about Chinese Herbal Medicine and Nutrition. Dr. Cheng’s passion for learning has extended as far as her becoming members of multiple veterinary associations as well as being involved in continuing education courses, being in practice for 29 years. She also received an undergraduate degree in Medical illustrations with multiple publications.
Becoming certified in Holistic Veterinary medicine has given her an opportunity to practice Western and Eastern medicine in order to achieve the greatest outcome for all patients and pet parents. She has a special interest in integrative medicine as an adjunct to Allopathic medicine.
During Dr. Chengs free time she enjoys spending time with her pets and in addition illustrating them (including her patients). Her passion for animals runs deep as she would one day like to have a large plot of land where she can raise cows, sheep and goats.
